Wait! Don’t start yet! Put some –appropriate- music on first!

I remember myself not to be particularly interested in where to stay. A cheap hotel for a night sleep was all I needed. I was not even interested in the benefits, the decoration and, ultimately, the beauty around me. In recent years (perhaps my age is also responsible), I consider it an integral part of the success of my trip. A beautiful hotel makes me relax much faster, helps me leave behind me my worries from the first moment I enter into a nice room and look around me. I think I will never get tired of experiencing new hotels, I was thinking one afternoon when an invitation from Relais Rione Ponte, in the center of my beloved Rome, appeared on my travel horizon. I didn’t need to think about it and I immediately reserved my air tickets for the eternal city.

This was my third time in Rome, and this trip was the best way for me to welcome the Spring. Paved alleys, colorful buildings with a vintage aura, tasty food and a boutique hotel, behind Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most beautiful squares. An amazing location that gave me the opportunity to go everywhere on foot and to experience as much “Rome” as possible. What else can I ask for?

But it was not just the location, the comfort of our minimal suite, the modern bathroom, the delicious breakfast that made me appreciate this stay. It was also the sophisticated atmosphere, with the diffused art everywhere, since Relais Rione Ponte Rome combines art and hospitality. In the rooms and public spaces there are works by Italian and international artists, designed to promote the interaction of creativity between visitors and creators.

If you are looking for a beautiful hotel a step from Piazza Navona to explore the eternal city, then Relais Rione Ponte it is and La vita è bella! Whenever I visit Rome, I will always want to come back.

* Many thanks to Laura for the great hospitality at Relais Rione Ponte, airshop.gr  for my air tickets and perfectdress.gr for the wonderful vintage classic 50’s tea dress Matilda.

World would not be the world, Rome would cease to be Rome…”
