Le bonheur est parfois cache dans l’ inconnu
“Happiness is sometimes hidden in the unknown”
My mind was wandering around this famous quote of Victor Hugo, months before my departure to France. So, in January of 2011, after having completed my studies at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of the Panteion University, I had collaborated with well known Greek magazines (Lipstick, Max, Out of Limits etc) and I was at the end of my postgraduate studies in “Cultural Management”, I left my comfort zone in Greece and moved to Paris. I had never visited the city of lights before, only through movies and songs. A whole new (unknown) world was laying in front of me. Since then, much has changed, little remained the same but I can now say with certainty that with all the goods and the bads, this city changed me forever!
I am currently trying to meet new places and live new experiences both in my two cities, Athens and Paris but also around the world, as often as I can. Because for me, traveling is the only thing that matters in life after love and what could make me happy.
My passion for writing, which is also my job (I am a travel, fashion and cultural journalist) and then my interest for photography drove me to observe everything around me like it’s the first time I see it and capture the beauty out of it.
At first, back in 2012 the blog My Parisienne Walkways was born, with my Parisian discoveries and later the same year, La Vie En Blog was created (in Paris too). It’s a travel/experience and lifestyle blog with the aim to prove that there are so many places to visit and so many amazing experiences to live around us that we should not waste any time.
I am currently collaborating with Athinorama Taste & Travel, a leading travel Magazine in Greece and Greek City Times, a lifestyle site in Australia. I am also responsible for marketing and communication in my family business in Athens.
Welcome to La Vie En Blog, the place where you can get inspired and find tips for new trips around the world!
